Mayor Bloomberg proclaimed March 8th as NYC Sportscasters Day!  I was honored to attend and capture a few highlights of yesterdays breakfast round table at the “21” Club with New York sports anchors Warner Wolf, Len Berman, Sal Marchiano, Scott Clark and Bob Wolff.

Hearing Emmy Award winning sportscaster and New York Times Bestselling Author Len Berman discuss his big break (which almost didn’t happen) was such a treat! Warner, Sal, Scott and Bob all shared their most memorable interview over the years including stories of Ted Williams, Babe Ruth and many legends.

There were many distinguished guests in attendance including John Starks one of the most well-known Knicks of all-time who has a terrific foundation for 17 years and offers the “3 Point Scholarship Program” which assists New York/Tri-State & Tulsa area high school students in their pursuit of a college degree.  Former New York City Governor Cuomo was in attendance and so many supporters joined this very special round table that was carefully named “One More Round” by world renowned sports expert Marty Appel, as he hopes for many more rounds in the future.

Being part of such a monumental event was such an honor.  I really enjoyed hearing the stories shared at the “21” Club!  This was another wonderful day for a local Staten Island Wedding Photographer.
