As parents, as friends… as daughters or sons we all live the life we want to live.  Or do we?  If you could wake up and do anything tomorrow, what would it be?   Would you live the same life and do the very same things? Sometimes I make bold decisions and take risks that leave friends and family shaking their head in disbelief.  You only live once… why not?  That’s my motto.

I was very inspired after watching a video last week.  Which left me feeling that I should not postpone anything in life.  Live differently!  How long will your daughter be 3 years old.  How long will your parents be around? Life is too short to have regrets.   Live life… make memories, reminisce about your life and lead the life you want today.

Changing your life isn’t easy by any means.  Take small steps to lead the life you want to lead.  I have a mantra that I repeat anytime I’m having a “day”.  You know the kind of day you struggle through with challenges and obstacles that leave you breathless.  Here’s my motto, feel free to use it because I love it originally performed by Sir Mix-A-lot.  But PLEASE read this out loud.

“I like big butts and I can not lie
You other brothers can’t deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face”

Now I know anyone reading is laughing out loud and that’s the point.   Laughing at me or with me, regardless laughter IS the best medicine.
