WELCOME TO THE WORLD – NEWBORN/SIBLING SESSION WITH THE W FAMILY.

When Mrs. W called me to photograph her beautiful young family, I was more than thrilled. We had been high school track teammates and had lots of fond memories together. It’s always so rewarding to see old friends’ lives change and grow so many years later.

What made this shoot so special was not just her beautiful children, but the fact that her baby son, Aaron Michael, was our very first newborn (and big sister!) to be photographed at our new Castle studio.

Mr. W was every bit the adorably doting Dad. The afternoon light  that streamed into our studio showed the tender warmth of these moments between father and son.

Throughout the session, big sister little Miss Amira. and I really bonded. We played, imagined and told silly jokes.  We talked about having a new baby in the house and helping to take care of him. But moreso, I used this session to give her the extra attention she deserved as a new big sister.  I think her shining moments really show in her eyes.
